SNOW API for retrieving Approval details from a request

The context is: we have Saviynt app installed in ServiceNow. We tried to open a request for a user (requesting an entitlement) from ServiceNow. 

In ServiceNow, after the creation of the request, the request appears immediately as "Approved" (in the "Approval" field) and "Open" in State field, but in Saviynt the approval is in pending status (no accept or reject done).

1. Why the ServiceNow status of same request is "approved" but in Saviynt it is "pending"?

2. Are there any API exposed by Saviynt that ServiceNow can recall in order to get full details/information on the request (like the Approval status and the Approver of that request)?

Can you please more information like screenshots of the request and it's status.

Also what is the configuration for your workflow engine?? Is it saviynt or snow?? 

Did you check if the workflows are configured in the respective application in saviynt? It is essential because, if your workflow engine is saviynt, you would anyways have a workflow set up as per the approval process.

However if your workflow engine is servicenow, you'd still have to keep a simple one level workflow in saviynt to prevent the request in saviynt to auto approve and get closed.

So kindly provide more information on the scenario.
