error - "There are no workflow contexts for this document"

Hello Experts,

I am able to generate RITM and REQ associated with it from saviynt, But In RITM under show workflow we face the error "There are no workflow contexts for this document".

I use the following createticketjson for ritm,

Kindly suggest what we need to pass from creatticketjson, so workflow might reflect, or we do need some configuration snow side as well. how we can resolve this issue. Kindly guide us for this.

@ankitalande : Can you please provide more details on what type of integration you did with SNOW? SNOW as a Ticketing system or SNOW as a Audit system? Your approvals will be done in Saviynt or SNOW?

we use SNOW as a ticketing system, And workflow is attach in saviynt for ars. we successfully create ritm, req from saviynt API call problem is when ritm generate and we view the worklow in ritm then "There are no workflow contexts for this document" showing instead of actual workflow in snow. In snow workflow is associated with cat_item from saviynt we pass the same cat_item value but still workflow is not showing.

@ankitalande : Then in that case you won't be able to show the Workflow attached in Saviynt in SNOW. I believe it will showup workflow only if workflow is there in SNOW.

Yes, it works when request is raise from snow directly.

 

Contact SNOW admin possible reason.

  1. Missing or Incorrect Configuration: It's possible that the document you're working with hasn't been properly configured with the necessary workflow contexts. Check the settings or configurations of your document management system to ensure that the appropriate workflow contexts are defined and assigned to the document.

  2. Permissions Issue: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access and work with the document in question. Sometimes, workflow contexts may be restricted to certain users or roles within the system.

  3. Document Status: Verify the status of the document. Some workflow contexts may only apply to documents in specific states (e.g., draft, review, approved). If the document is not in the expected state, the workflow context may not be available.

  4. System Error: There could be a system error or glitch causing the message to appear incorrectly. Try refreshing the page or restarting the application to see if the error persists.

Can you please suggest, what we need to do in snow so that workflow showing with ritm.
