understand more about the user import job users not in feed option

Hi,

I need to import users from Azure AD. There are another authoritative source in our system and it is service now. We will be reconcilling only the active users from the Azure AD instance and we need to ensure that the users who have been created initially by the user import job are mapped with correct status. We have all the connection and endpoint in place also created users successfully. Now if the created user is off boarded in the Azure AD then upon user import, the users must get inactivated in Saviynt as well. To endure this, we have user not in feed option. 

We performed our research and found out that the users not in feed option checks for the user resource attribute and it is populated with the connection code which is used to create the user. We wanted to make sure that other users do not get inactivated due to this action.

Any information would be highly appreciated.

Hi @tejpusal , yes that is right it will only take action on those which are create dvia that connection.

• In Saviynt, you can have identity (user) information coming from different sources.
• In order to make sure other source data does not get impacted, sourceids under users are used.
• so if data from Azure AD is not coming, then Azure AD Source will only be impacted
