Saviynt REST api - unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Hi All,

We are getting below PKIX Certificate error when trying to invoke Application API's from Saviynt using REST Connector.

Got null response statusCode with erroMsg - [error:Error PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target]

we checked with App team and they said there is no such certificate available.

Can anyone let us know what we need to do to fix the above error.

Note: Checked the below Forum post which has similar issue, but couldn't access the url provided as the solution.

Thanks,

Nitish

Hi Rushikesh,

We are facing the same error in Exchange. We have a valid certificate uploaded onto IIS. However, when we connect with https via Saviynt to IIS, we see the above error.

We tried hitting the url via Postman from the server and it works and it gives 200 OK. Do we need to upload the IIS Certificate in our Exchange Saviynt connection as well? It is a rest connector
