"Remove User from Role" Button not working, when ROLE_UIADMIN is assigned

Hi everyone,

I assigned my user the ROLE_UIADMIN role. 

Since then I'm not able to unassign roles with that user anymore in the UI. 

When I click "Remove User from Role" (under Admin > SAV Roles > any Role > Users), nothing happens. The Browser console gives me the error message

"Uncaught ReferenceError: removeUserFromSavRole is not defined

    at HTMLAnchorElement.onclick (13:4568:105)

onclick @ 13:4568"

I was able to remove the role via API calls, but I guess this should get fixed.

Are you telling me you are able to unassign a SAV Role with a user, that has UI_ROLEADMIN active OR that you dont believe this is an issue?

If you are able to do so, which Saviynt version are you using? For me it is not working on v23.11 and I already tried different browsers.

Maybe my descriptiuon was a little to short to get the issue described properly. 

Imaginge an admin user, that has an admin role assigned. He is also able to assign himself the ROLE_UIADMIN, when he needs to use it. The issue now appears, when he tries to unassign the ROLE_UIADMIN - He is not able to do so, without the help of another admin or the API.

• Users - Sav role
• Sav role - users

Good point. It is working via Users > SAV Roles.

Were anyone able to verify the behavior under SAV Roles that I described above?

It never worked , so as long as it works from other way you are good 🙂

since ROLE_UIADMIN kind of label change and read only it blocks some buttons

You can raise defect for same using saviynt support ticket

I already did so before asking in the forum. It was dismissed as "expected behaviour". 
Maybe I'll open an idea forum entry for that then.
