Technical Rule using “Contains” does not work

User has two departments, S1 and S2.
Therefore, the Department Name is set to “S1,S2”.
And I want to make them belong to S1 role and S2 role by using Technical Rule.

Currently, the technical rules are set up as follows, but the users cannot belong to any of the roles.

  • Users.departmentname like '%S1%'
  • Users.departmentname like '%S2%'

Please let me know how I can achieve the above requirements.

@yuki what is the error your are receiving..?

I have checked the Log Viewer and there are no relevant errors.
I have assigned an AD group Entitlement to the role, so an “Add Access” task should be generated, but it is not.

@yuki use advance config instead of basic

2) share the department name screenshot to see how it looks like currently.
