Does Gen 2 / Neo experience enable configuring recommendations of applications ?

My concern is mostly related to the below interface (Gen 2 / Neo) when requesting an application.

I know that the "Recommended" flag is avalaible in "Modern Experience" but I can't find how can we configure the same on Gen2.

It has been internally created but however it is yet to be considered and there is no definite road map yet.
