SAV4SAV Existing DB connections retained in EIC ?

Hello Team,

We are getting migrated to V24.2 from v5.5 sp3 very soon. I would like to understand if our existing configs like SAV4SAV DB connections and custom queries remains As-Is and functional in EIC version ?

We have around 150 + DB SAV4SAV connections in our environment and it would be a huge testing efforts if we are not getting the existing configs migrated as is to EIC.

Please let us know how this is being done in other clients.

• existing custom query will be retain but no modifications are allowed
• Sav4sav DB connection need to be converted to REST connector
• in order to retain 150+ connection check with CSM on possible solutions for time being

Suresh,

Existing Sav4SAV DB connections will persist in your new EIC environments. Any new implementations will have to use REST Connector.

Similarly, any existing Custom Queries will work as-is but modification is not allowed. Any new custom queries will have to be written via the enhanced query framework.
