We are working on create and update user form through GSP customization.
We tried to achieve this from UI configuration, but this has some latency issue and hence we are using the GSP customization approach as suggested by Saviynt.
On update user form, we are displaying the default values for update user form. The default values are the values which will be pre-populated on form load and these values is fetched by running analytics and reading the values.
We have an attribute organization(customer field in the user table). For this attribute user is trying to change the value and submit the form, on request history gives the details of organization value is changed for the user as per the below screenshot, also in the logs we see the New value for organization is the new value as per screenshot below (IN603420)
However, when we check on user profile the org value is empty.
The same piece of code works for create user and when we select a value from organization, the organization is displayed on new user profile.
We also tried to change the code, to pass the customer’s name value instead of customer key for update user request but that is not displayed the expected output as well. We wanted to know if it is a feature that even is allowed by product or something in the code that should be changed.
