Hi All,

I was going through CyberArk connector- https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/CyberArk-SCIM-v2020x/page/Content/Understanding-the-Integration...

Need few information for below two points mentioned in Configuring a connector-

  • The SCIM server hostname, port, username, and password are available.

  • The includePropertiesOnPrivilegedDataList property is set to true in the globalconfig.yml file. This is required for transmitting custom attributes from SCIM to EIC.

1. How can we get username & password form application team as there is no guide to make integration user

2. Where can we find globalconfig.yml

Thanks,

Jaya Karothia

This would be a service account and if you are able to run the required api's from postman, it will work for Saviynt as well. You should be able to get details of username/password from the CyberArk team. I will also pass on the information to Saviynt Doc team to add the details regarding Service account creation so it is available in the future docs.

Also, the globalconfig.yml is a CyberArk file and your CyberArk team should be able to provide that file to you.

Hi @Sahil @Jaya

Could you please provide more information on the permissions the service account is supposed to have in order for integration to be successful?

  • The firewall is open for EIC to communicate with the CyberArk SCIM APIs.

  • The CyberArk SCIM server is ready.

Could you also provide details on specifications for Firewall opening and CyberArk SCIM server?

what are specifications on "CyberArk SCIM server is ready" ? Like the API's details

Thank you,

Since this is an api based integration, if you are able to make all necessary calls from Postman using the Service account then the integration should work from Saviynt too.

The firewall on the cyberark side should not block any traffic from EIC server and the communication should be allowed. You can work with Saviynt Support team to check telnet/ping connectivity from EIC to Cyberark.

The CyberArk SCIM server is ready - This just means that the server is able to receive and send call data. This can be validated from Postman to ensure the api calls you want to use are working and also getting a valid response.
