Issue Custom query workflow

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with customquery approvals in the workflow.

I'm using a dynamic attribute of the form to designate the future approver. No problem, the approver is correctly designated.
The problem occurs when the approver corresponds to the beneficiary, in this case the approver is “Admin”, so the workflow is blocked in this case.

In other cases (user groups, manager approval, etc.), when this situation occurs, the validation step is automatically approved. Is it normal that this is not the case in this situation? Do we need to add a condition to get around this problem?

Thanks,

Alexis

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'.

Hi,

Is there a possible workaround other than adding conditions in the WF to check that the approver is not the beneficiary? Is it not possible by default for the validation step to be auto-approved?
This behavior is also found with user groups: if only one person is part of the group and that person is the beneficiary of the request, the approver will be the admin by default. Strange behavior...

You can raise idea ticket for same.
