Force REST connection to use Saviynt Connect 2.0

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to force a REST connection to use Saviynt Connect 2.0 so that traffic occurs through our network?  The URL we are reaching is publicly accessible, however accounts which have admin privileges on this web app can only log in successfully from our internal network.  The API account we have has admin privileges and must maintain those privileges in order to call the endpoints we need.

To force a REST connection to use Saviynt Connect 2.0 and ensure that traffic occurs through your network, you can use the following approaches:

  1. Saviynt Connect 2.0 Configuration:
    • Ensure that your Saviynt instance is configured to use Saviynt Connect 2.0. This setup will allow you to manage the network routing and ensure the traffic is routed through your internal network.
  2. Proxy Configuration:
    • Use a proxy server to route the API requests through your internal network. You can configure the REST connection in Saviynt to use a proxy server that is accessible from your internal network.
  3. VPN or Direct Network Access:
    • Ensure that the server or instance running Saviynt Connect 2.0 has direct access to your internal network, either through a VPN or direct network connectivity.

Thanks @rushikeshvartak I'll look for an existing idea or raise one to add this option in the config section per connection in the ideas portal.
