Active Directory Entitlement Owner reassignment

When someone leaves the organization and they are the owner of entitlements (especially AD groups) we want them to be reassigned to their manager. Is there a way to automate this?

So anything that person is an owner of would automatically be updated to this person? Would/could it write it back to the AD managed by attribute.

•  
• This can be implemented using user update rule.
• Ownership will be transferred to person mentioned under users - Owner on Terminate field
