24.2 Version upgrade - My recent requests feature on home page

When we login as Admin, on the Home Page there are 5 requests displayed.

The request that is displayed are not recent requests.  Is there any criteria with which these requests should be displayed. 
Since View All is anyways navigating to Request History, we wanted to check what is the purpose of 5 request to be displayed on the home page.

It shows top 5 recent requests  based on request submission. Currently My Recent requests does have link to open request. Idea ticket is already in place . Please upvote

We are able to see the top 5 recent requests submitted by the user as expected.
