Can we manage password of Individual Active Directory Admin Account in Saviynt CPAM ?

Can we restrict the access to this Individual Active Directory Admin Account to just that particular user?

Also can we use Individual Active Directory Admin Account to connect to Linux servers and Database?

@BT Thanks for posting your question. Please see the below article to understand how access to accounts can be restricted using the account visibility feature. There are two examples provided for Active Directory accounts.

https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/CPAM-Admin-Guide-v23x/page/Content/L-Manage-Accounts/Account-Vi...

The following article explains how to onboard Active Directory to Saviynt for PAM:
https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/CPAM-Admin-Guide-v23x/page/Content/E-Onboard-Target-Endpoint/On...

Once the AD Accounts are onboarded users will be able to launch priv sessions to Databases through remote apps. You can see the list of out of the box DB clients supported via remote apps in this link:

https://forums.saviynt.com/t5/privileged-access-management/looking-for-documentation-steps-to-enable...

Linux server access through putty is not out of the box. However, you can open a Freshservice ticket similar to the other remote apps and Saviynt support team will help configure it for you.

Thanks,

@BT Yes, individual admin accounts can be used to connect to linux and db servers using the remote app process. You will have to submit tickets for the creation and setup of the remote apps.

Thanks
