Unable to get the application name and endpoint name in the pending tasks

Hi Team,

I am trying to writeback the systemusername to workday application and I have the userupdateJson configured in the connection for the same with a user update rule that will trigger the pending tasks when there are any changes in systemusername attribute.

But the pending tasks are getting created with the blank endpoint and application name. Also the provisioning job is not picking the task even if I hardcode the task id in the job.

Please help me understand if I have missed configuring something.

Hi @sp ,

you need to create an update account task instead of update user task.

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'

I am updating the user. Not the account.

  • Update User task is not associated with any application hence this is expected behavior
