Hi Team,

We have a requirement to show Entitlement Owners or atleast Endpoint-Owner as Task Owner.

But Task Owner always shows as "Admin" unless I change it manually via Pending Task -> Action -> Change Owner.

What if there are owners in place and the task is still defaulting to Admin?

If its connected application then owner will be always admin

Hi @ZachThomasCBTS , that is a whole default scenario owners comes into picture via workflow which flows the request for different approvals

@vivekrajan1 : Are you talking about disconnected application or connected application? If it is connected application then it will show admin as task owner by default. Incase if it disconnected application then it takes owner from either Multi-Step Provisioning Owner or Owner field.

Can we know what is your use case. If it is connected then why do you want to show task owner as endpoint owner?

This is for disconnected applications. There are owners listed, however the provisioning task (the task that shows up after all approvals) is being assigned to admin. We want the owner to be assigned the task since they will be the one completing it.

@ZachThomasCBTS : Can you please assign it to Multi-Step Provisioning Owners and see?

Also make sure that Automated Provisioning is Disabled

Also are these tasks created through Request process or any automated process like user update rules, certification etc

Thank you! Turning off Automated Provisioning at the Security System level and having Multi-Step  Provisioning Owners has resulted in provisioning tasks being assigned to the Multi-Step Provisioning Owners.
