Sending password via SMS

Hi,

I found this post: https://forums.saviynt.com/t5/identity-governance/sending-password-by-sms/m-p/3036/thread-id/94
And I would like to understand how password sync works, if Saviynt wouldn't know the password. If the password sync works, couldn't we just use an application integration to call the REST api?

Saviynt temporarily stores password as encrypted data. Only while sending task completion email or sending the password for action such password sync, it decrypts and pass the data. This process to decrypt and pass the data is not available as a binding variable in connector provisioning activities, so the option to send it by making an API call from REST connector  is not possible.

However you may want to open an idea with this requirement so that it can be reviewed by the product team
