number of tries for provisioning and errored tasks

We have a case, the number of tries for provisioning are default (10) in our environment, one of the tasks gets errored after 10 tries because . However, the task did not wait for approval before retires. 

Request and Tasks both Creation time: 22 Nov
Request Approved time: 27 Nov
Retries happen every 30 mins through provisioning job for all pending tasks of all security systems. So, after 5 hours, it put the task in error. However, after approval, the job again did Add access in the target system (successful provisioning). But, task and request page still shows that it is errored.

1. How can we configure so that the retry-calls to be happening only after approvals?
2. Or if it happens to be error until approval, that's okay too, however, post approval and successful provisioning, it has to update the task status to be successful too.

How can we make it happen? Please advise.

Greetings.

Instead of checking UI for the request, please check the arstasks table from data analyzer and check for task update date. Also check if the status is changed for the task. 

If the task is provisioned successfully, then the task status should change.
