Need help with Office 365 SharePoint New Service Principal

Hi Team,

We need help with Office 365 Sharepoint new service principal creation.

Need confirmation on what the App Domain and Redirect url values will be. 

1. Can this be any random value or do they have to be a value that is accessible from some url.

2. Do we have to create a new sharepoint url in step 1 of this process or can we use company sharepoint URL only and add app as in Step 2. 

I have gone through many forum post but none of them clearly states the use of these configuration and if they can be any value or has to be something specific.
