I am noticing an issue with our rehires not being updated and I believe it is due to an end date being populated. My question is do import data not update when an end date is populated?
08/19/2024 11:19 AM
If end date is less then its expected

What do you mean less then expected?

If an end date is present, the system might treat the users as inactive or closed, and updates might not be processed as they would be for active users . This behavior depends on how the system is configured. Some systems might skip updates for users with an end date, assuming they are no longer in use.

How can I bypass this or where is this configuration present? Is this something in Global Configs?

I selected one user with the start date greater then the end date and exported that user and changed managers and did an import. It updated with no problem. But when running the workday import it is not updating that user.

Its the opposite the CSV import works fine. Updating from UI I get an error. However when my workday job runs it is not updating those users.

It must be blocking due to date issue

I did another test where I removed the enddate and re ran the Workday Job and the attributes did not change for manager. I'm not understanding why its not updating.

I have verified this already. I have a support ticket in and working with Saviynt because now I have other use cases coming up that is effecting users that do not have an end date populated at all. I will circle back around to this post once I get more details.

After working with support they came back and said indeed this is a known issue and is corrected in 24.7.

I'm trying to create a workaround. I want to only import user termination date if its less then the start date. I tried the following but it is not working any suggestions?
"ENDDATE": if("wd:Termination_Date~#~string" < "wd:Hire_Date~#~string", "null"),

Workday and the plan is to upgrade but that will take two to four weeks. This issue is impacting all our rehires so I need a workaround in the meantime.
