Hi All,
We are trying to use the Tag Search Field for Enterprise Roles to filter the roles based on the tags field selected while requesting access. The tag field values are added in customproperty1 attribute of Enterprise Roles. Below are the approaches that we have tried and not getting the expected behaviour:
1. Enabled Tag search field for enterprise role for customproperty1 , added value in few roles and It is not working
2. Similarly, we have tried with enabling endpoints and enterprise role for customproperty1, added value in few roles customproperty1 and this is also not working.
3. We tried using enabling endpoints, entitlements and enterprise role for customproperty1, added value in few roles customproperty1 and this is also not working.
Expected Behavior-> Tags should appear like below:
Observed Behavior-> customproperty1 values are not getting populated in tags field.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Rushikesh,
We ran microservice job and even restarted the system. But the tags are not populating. Same issue we are facing in Version 23.5 as well.

Hello @h_sapkota
Can you confirm if you have already tested with the below configurations(Global Configurations -> Requests) in place?
1) Tag Search Field for Enterprise Roles = <desired CP of the enterprise role>
2) Enable enhanced application catalog-based searches? = 'NO'
07/13/2023 03:14 PM
@timchengappa Enable enhanced application catalog-based searches should be YES for tag based search to be worked
@h_sapkota : Can you try above suggested setting? And make sure that endpoint sync job is running?

Hi @timchengappa , @Saathvik
Below are the Configurations and results that were tested and validated with three different Roles:
1. Role1 -> Cp1 as RoleSet1 -> No Entitlement-> Role3 as Child Role
Role2 -> CP1 as RoleSet2 -> 1 Entitlement -> No Child Role
Role3 -> CP1 as RoleSet3 -> No Entitlement -> Role2 as Child Role
Configuration in Global > Requests
-> Cp1 is enabled for Enterprise Role
Enabled enhanced application catalog based searches -> set to YES
Default Endpoint Sync Job is Triggered after changes had been made
Result
-> RoleSet2 value is coming in Tag Search Field
7. Role1 -> Cp1 as RoleSet1 -> No Entitlement -> Role3 Child Role
Role2 -> CP1 as RoleSet2 -> 1 Entitlement -> No Child Role
Role3 -> CP1 as RoleSet3 -> 1 Entitlement -> Role2 Child Role
Configuration in Global > Requests
-> Cp1 is enabled for Enterprise Role
Enabled enhanced application catalog based searches -> set to YES
Default Endpoint Sync Job is Triggered after changes had been made
Result
->RoleSet2 and RoleSet3 is coming in the Tag Search Field
Conclusion,
To enable Tagging feature for Roles,
Configuration in Global > Requests
-> Customproperty1 is enabled for Enterprise Role
Enabled enhanced application catalog based searches -> set to YES
Default Endpoint Sync Job should ran after changes have been made.
NOTE: Roles which has entitlements tag to it will be able to filter in Tag Search field. This feature won't work with those roles that doesn't have entitlements and have only Child Roles.
