You can add an escalation block from the approval block and set the expiration unit as 10 and type as days to escalate the request if no action has been taken for 10 days. You can either end the workflow or add another level of approval from the escalation block.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We have two levels of approval, once is manager and followed by resource owner or application owner. We are trying to set the expiration of 10 days for the complete workflow. The above quoted answer would suffice for the manager task. Can you please let us know if we can configure a custom query to end the flow for the resource owner task as well if the approval not done within 10 days.
Can you please provide with workflow diagram for the same.
Thanks.

Have you tried Expires Request After setting in Global Configuration?

Hi,
Thanks. We have already enabled this setting to 10 days, but we still see the requests in open state. Can you please suggest on some alternative solution?
Thanks.

Are you running this JOB? which will take care of expiring requests after the # of days configured in global configuration
