Flat File provisioning, is it possible?

Hi I am trying to find any documentation around integrating with a system using flat files/csvs. I see we could potentially use schema based file import job to import flat files, unless there is a better option? On the flip side, is there any documentation around setting up a provisioning integration for provisioning via flat files? Not seeing anything related to that in the docs yet.

Hi @jralexander137 ,

You can refer to below documents:

  1. If there is a SFTP setup, using 'SFTPFileTransfer' connection type, you can download or upload the files - SFTP file transfer integration
  2. For non SFTP setup -

Disconnected Application Integration Using SeriveNow Ticket

- Use analytics to notify via email with a .xlsx attachment to the manual fulfillment team about the tasks created in Saviynt and the same tasks created in Saviynt should be manually closed.

- Best practices: Provisioning/ deprovisioning options for disconnected Applications.

Below are option for Disconnected Application provisioning

  1. Service Desk Connection - Once request is approved create Service now/ Remedy Ticket
  2. Manual Provisioning Team - Once request is approved , provisioning team will process task in application and complete tasks in Saviynt.
  3. RPA - Use RPA connector and record script how to do provisioning in target system.
  4. Custom Extension - use APIs if available with application and provide to application if Provisioning is not supported
