Hello Saviynt Community,
I am looking for some guidance on how to best handle movers scenarios with future effective dates using Workday as the trusted source of identities in Saviynt.
We want to implement a process for the following types of changes:
- Job Title Change
- Manager Change
- Location Change
- Workday Employee to Contractor
- Workday Employee to Independent Contractor
- Contractor to Workday Employee
These changes often come with future effective dates, but we want to be proactive by triggering certain actions (such as sending emails or prepping the system) before these effective dates occur. The idea is to bring in the changes earlier without waiting until the actual effective date.
Given the complexity, we want to minimize the use of customproperties as much as possible since we’ll need them for other future implementations as well.
Has anyone implemented a similar scenario? What would be the best approach to achieve this in Saviynt? Any suggestions, best practices, or alternatives to handle this while minimizing the reliance on customproperties would be greatly appreciated.
