ARS application not showing entitlements

Hello,

We recently added a new endpoint in our instance for Gitlab accounts. We imported all of the accounts and entitlements. When we try to request new access (entitlements) for a gitlab account we don't see any of these entitlements in the request page. I also made the Gitlab entitlements requestable in the endpoint.

We also can't click the "modify" action for these accounts. I'll put a screenshot of the entitlements we imported.

When we try to do this access request for an account that hasn't been created in Gitlab yet, we CAN add these entitlements when making a new Gitlab account.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Kind regards,

Robbe

1. New Account

You have enabled Disable New Account Request if Account Already Exists under Endpoint hence you are not able to raise more than one account for user.

Modify button disable -

Check under endpoint configuration if Disable Modify Request is enabled. Does accounts you trying to modify having status & correlation with user?

Does any tasks / request in progress for user?

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, but both of those options are disabled as you can see here.

As far as the accounts go, they are all correlated to a user and no tasks are in progress for the users. They were imported yesterday and we haven't done anything with them.

Kind regards,

Robbe

This doesn't do anything either. It is weird because when requesting a new account the entitlements do show up, but when modifying access, they don't.

Is any global config for entitlement set or is any entitlement type configuration set for selected Entitlement?

Yes, here is a screenshot of the 2 entitlement types.

We have not changed anything in the global configuration for entitlement.

I will add that for our Active Directory application, we CAN modify the entitlements for accounts. But the 2 endpoints and their entitlement types are configured exactly the same.

Can you check if this setting in Global Configuration is enabled : Allow Request Without Manager

If not, please enable this and try in an incognito window to test.

Hello,

Sorry for the very late reply!

That specific setting wasn't enabled nor disabled. When we enabled it, it fixed our problem! Thank you very much!

Kind regards,

Robbe
