Are outbound requests allowed over ports 8080 - HTTP and 8443 - HTTPS

We need someone on the Saviynt side to confirm for us that outbound requests are  allowed on the Saviynt application side. We need to make sure it's allowed to reach out to the SCIM application over ports 8080 - HTTP and 8443 - HTTPS . The reachability and credentials have been validated to the destination we're trying to reach inside the customer's network.

You will need to get in touch with Saviynt support team to check if the connectivity is working over the mentioned ports from backend. You can create a support ticket for the same.

Hey, Sahil

This is with respect to a ticket that was already closed by Saviynt support (https://saviyntsupport.saviynt.com/support/tickets/2001554) and we were redirected to the forums. The forum post from which this response was originally made was pursuant to that. Should this ticket be reopened, or do I need to open a new support ticket?

Thanks,

Richard

The original ticket opened was for the Certificate info and I believe the same was answered to on forum post. You currently need to check whether connectivity from Saviynt is working to your target application. This would require to perform a telnet/ping operation from Backend and for this you would need to create a New Support ticket.

In case the connectivity from Saviynt is working and you are still facing any issue, you can update the form post with the details.

Sahil
