Hello,
I have a similar usecase as noted here however I didn't really see any solution for this. I have created a user update rule with the appropriate connection, and a provisioning job that includes update user as the task type; however, the task generated are not picked up by the job.
If anyone has a solution to this please share.
Thank you!

We did not create a security system for the workday soap connection since our integration with workday is only for user import/update not account.

Can you share screen shot of your update rule? I am more interested in your action settings

We have a similar issue unless we have configured a WSRETRY job with no security systems specified. Only then will tasks for the writeback to workday be picked up and processed.
Note that this seems to be a "wildcard" configuration for the WSRETRY job, so it will process tasks for all security systems/pending tasks when this job executes.
