Workday Import Question - 'suspended from import service' status

Hi All,

I am trying to import only one user record into EIC using the currently configured Workday connection (workday hybrid connector) in the environment. There are previous user records already since we have run full imports many times. I only want to import one record by changing RaaS URL to include one employeeID

How do I make sure that the rest of the existing users during import do not change status to ‘suspended from import service’?

Status threshold config is very low and NOACTION is selected in user import connection settings. We have to be sure that the status for other users does not change as it is a Prod environment.

Thank you,

Sushmita

If you are updating only record in Workday, try executing incremental import.

For more details please refer to following document : https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/WD2-v2021x/page/Content/Import-Recommendations.htm

Also try setting up accountThresholdValue to minimal value, so the number of accounts specified exceeds the threshold value, no action (deletion) is taken on the existing accounts.

For details on accountThresholdValue, please refer to :

https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/WD2-v2021x/page/Content/Importing-Accounts-and-Access.htm

NOTE : Try in Lower environment

thanks, Rakesh for the response - I am only looking to update user records, not access/accounts does the same hold good?

Do users get the 'suspended from import' status when not present during import ?

Users will have only Active or Inactive status. You can create another Workday connection with respective RAAS URL using one employee id filter and run import job. It shouldn't inactivate all other users. if you have below setting

SFIS is account status hence you can try same in lower environment before directly trying in prod . What is rationale behind this test case ?

Just want to import a subset of users instead of full import to run some provisioning scenarios.
