Users write back from accounts

Hi all,
with our client we have the following requirement:

we import the identities from SAP Success Factors with a user import job with just few personal data.

For what concerns the organizational data we separately import the job positions, which are also accounts on SAP SF, and create a correspondent account on Saviynt.

Then we need to sync back these org info on the users; here we have various use cases, as one user can:

  1. have one active job position (90% of the population) on SAP-SF;
  2. have more then one job position with an active status on SAP-SF;
  3. all the rest;

For now we are satisfying these requirement through the Savyint4Saviynt connector, through a complex query on the User Import.

We tried with the various rules (business, technical, user import etc.), but they seem all unfitting for our requirements.

Do you have any suggestion for a simpler solution? The main issue is the maintenance of the query, because it works for now, but in future it can become tricky to maintain it.

Hello,

Is it possible to directly do a user import for the data that you are trying to fetch from accounts?

Hi Sahaj,

unfortunately it is not possible, since we want manage the organizational data selectively (applying some specific logics which is not possible to have in the user import JSON) and only for a subset of users.

Hello,

Can the logic be applied via the user import preprocessor? The preprocessor should give you flexibility to modify data to your liking.

Hi,

unfortunately we receive in import multiple records (that right now we map as multiple accounts), that need to be explored (meaning define conditions over the accounts actual values and over their combinations to decide which account should be inserted in the user profile).

Kind regards,
