Technical Owner SAV Role

Hi,

There is a requirement from customer to create a Technical Owner SAV Role for each application team and provide them access to check pending and complete task for their own application only. Owner can see tasks only in Read Mode and for those application only for which they are owner. Is there a way it can be achieved?

You will have to create and assign a User Group in addition to creating a new SAV Role.

You can create a User Group in Saviynt and assign that usergroup to all the application team members. In the endpoint config, select the Owner Type as UserGroup and then in the Owner field select the usergroup. 

Create a new SAV Role which will have access to Tasks. All application team members should have access to this SAV roles so that they can see the tasks.

Hi Ishan,

With this approach, owner will be able to complete/discontinue the requests. If I make SAV Role as READ ONLY then they will be able to see tasks for all of the application but in read mode.

Please suggest.

Yes, if you make the savrole as Read only, then the users with the savrole can only view the tasks in read mode.

The requirement here is technical owner should see task for the specific application only(for which they are the owner) and in read mode only.
