Hi Team,
Do we have any option where the user's account status will be changed to manually suspended in Saviynt without creating the disable account task.
there is a requirement where the business doesn't want the service now account to be disabled from Saviynt side. It will be handled by service now team. But at the time of rehire how can the new account gets created if the old one exists. Can this be resolved?
Regards,
Ekata

Raise remove account request. or in disable account json dont call target, call dummy api

See, as a best practice the account status should match with the actual status on the target system. The discrepancy in the account status between target and saviynt will cause audit issues. You can think of a scenario where in saviynt the account status is changed to MS as per above approach but in target the account status is still active as the snow missed to perform the disablement of the account. Also since saviynt is showing accounts status as MS then any report in saviynt will also not be able to find the discrepancy.
Better to have actual snow ticket created and the close the task as the snow ticket is closed. Closing the loop perfectly.

Hi,
Thanks for the response but as per client there is no specific time to disable the servicenow account. they can close it in 5 days also and in 15 days also as per the contract end or renewal.
This activity will be done by their tech support team.
I will try to add the dummy API and get the required details.
Thanks,
Ekata
