Show/Hide Start and End Dates in ARS for Temporary/Permanent Access

 Hi All,

We have an User case where, The requester should have the option to select the type of access. Either Temporary or Permanent. Based on the user's selection :

  1. For Temporary Access : The requester must select an End Date for the entitlements, which should not exceed 90 days. The requested access will be removed on that End date.
  2. For Permanent Access : No End Date need to be selected for requested entitlements as the access type is permanent.

As we know as per Saviynt Documentation:

  1. 'Ask For Start Date End Date While Request' is applicable at Entitlement Type level. And it will be mandatory for all entitlements or none.

Is it possible to show/ hide End dates for entitlements based on Dynamic attribute selection. Let us know if you have any workaround on this.

Thanks,

  • Currently, its not supported to make it dynamic. Please raise idea ticket
  • You can have 2 different entitlement and achieve a workaround

Hi @UPande119 , are the entitlements which fall under permanent and temporary are different or same?

@rushikeshvartak What do you mean by "You can have 2 different entitlement and achieve a workaround"

@UPande119 2 different entitlement type is what you can use and on the basis of DA you will show them.

If you have Ent A for temporary access and Ent B for permanent access

@rushikeshvartak or @NM

Is there a way we can use the if else condition at "Config JSON for Request Dates" at entitlement type?
{
"ENDDATEREQUIRED" : "1",
"MAXTIMEFRAMEHRS": "3"

If dynamic value is temporary we need to enable  ENDDATEREQUIRED else not required?
