Hi,
We have a requirement that the account name while requesting for service accounts, on the manage service account page, account name should be manually entered by the requestor and there is no rule that needs to be followed to generate an accountname.
Since the account name is greyed out on the form page, do we still have to create a dynamic attribute to populate the actual accountname?
We want to avoid two attributes on the ars page which is same, to avoid confusion to the user.
Is it possible without the creation of any dynamic attribute, that requestors can manually input the accountname?

@AashishD , how are you requesting service account ? using manage service account ? or request access for self.
If using manage service account then dont use below config in endpoint details page
If not using manage service account tile in ARS or request access one, then you might have to use dynamic attribute only

Hi Amit,
Sorry for the confusion, I was talking about the manage service account tile and not ars
I have removed the service account name rule and made it blank. I still see the account name field on the form as uneditable.
Could you also confirm the version you are on

@AashishD It seems you have updated gsp which is causing issue.

Yes, we have updated gsp for the account owner option. Could that affect the account name functionality too?
Because i remember seeing this attribute editable in another instance of Saviynt. Not able to replicate

You must have made readonly also. You can share gsp so that i can suggest line /keyword to be removed

Seems i cannot send a gsp file here in gsp or txt format as well.
Hence pinged you the content personally

@AashishD
In the Endpoint AccountNameRule, select any CP value on the user profile that is not used for all users.
So, In the ARS it will allow you to enter the value as need for the account.
In case of Service Account. It is by default editable/Replaceable as needed on Account creation

@stalluri The question is on a service account.
@AashishD In case of Service Account Account Name field is imputable
