Missing Features

When it comes to features, some organizations may find gaps in the following areas:

  1. Certifications: Some may prefer Saviynt's capabilities for automated access certifications and reviews, which can be more robust compared to what's available in ServiceNow.

  2. Pending Approvals: Users might find the pending approvals workflow more streamlined in Saviynt, especially for complex access requests that require multiple approvers.

  3. User Interface and Experience: Depending on user familiarity, some might find Saviynt’s UI more intuitive for identity management tasks compared to ServiceNow's.

  4. Reporting and Analytics: Saviynt often has advanced analytics features tailored for identity governance that might not fully align with ServiceNow's reporting capabilities.

Why Use ServiceNow?

  1. ITSM Integration: ServiceNow excels in IT service management (ITSM) and can provide a seamless experience if your organization is already invested in its ecosystem.

  2. Centralized Platform: Many organizations prefer using ServiceNow as a single platform for IT operations, allowing for easier management of service requests, incidents, and changes alongside access requests.

  3. Custom Workflows: ServiceNow allows for extensive customization of workflows, which can be beneficial for organizations with specific process requirements.

  4. Familiarity and Training: If your team is already trained on ServiceNow, it might be more efficient to stick with it for access requests rather than requiring additional training for Saviynt.
