Role ownership being assigned to admin

Hello,

We have user update rule configured to transfer ownership to N+1 when the user is terminted. we have noticed wired behaviour for one of the role it get assigned to admin. could you share cases when the role will be assigned to admin?

Hi @Dalalsaleh888 the ownership shall be transferred to admin if the "Owner on Terminate" attribute is not set to the user. 

If the "Owner on Terminate" is setup, but the user setup for this transfer is inactive then the ownership will be assigned to admin user.

we are not assigning "owner on terminate" attribute and ownership get transferred to N+1 & N+2 if N+1 is inactive. 

we are unsure in what cases it get assigned to admin

we have many cases where ownership got transferred to N+1 as without defining the user's owneronterminate in 5.5

is this has been changed to 24.1 versions?

In EIC owneronterminate  is mandatory for transfer of ownership

in 5.5 the if owneronterminate is not defined, by default it will be transfrred to user's manager. So are you saying this has been removed in EIC?

• I have validated in EIC. if owneronterminate is blank, then by default it take manager as owneronterminate
