Race Condition in username generation logic.

Hi Experts,

We have a user onboarding form for the external users, for the username field, we are calculating it based on the old usernames in ARS tasks and user tables and incrementing it.

This is just a question to understand if is there any possibility that if the form is opened at the same time by more than one person the logic to calculate the username generates the same username. Is this possible and if yes can we do anything to overcome such instances?

Race condition will always occur as request can be rejected also
