LDAP Group Management

Hello,

We are connecting to LDAP in our use case. We were hoping to use Saviynt for LDAP group management. However, we read on the documentation linked here (Configuring Group Management (saviyntcloud.com)) that group management is only available for the connectors: AD, Unix, Azure AD, GCP, Okta, ADSI and Windows Server.

It was mentioned that since LDAP often uses AD as the connection type, we could use this as a workaround to do group management for LDAP.

Has anyone done this successfully or tried it? Want to confirm before passing along the information.

Thanks!

thank you! I understand.

But if you were to use AD connector type for LDAP, would this work as a workaround solution?

You can try workaround but you may face challenges
