Issue with Delete Security System API - Getting 403 Forbidden Status

Hello Saviynt Community,

We are encountering an issue with the Delete Security System API in our system. Whenever we attempt to utilize this API, we are consistently receiving a 403 Forbidden status error. We have diligently reviewed the Saviynt logs to investigate this matter further, but unfortunately, nothing significant is appearing in the logs.

This issue is causing us significant inconvenience as we need to delete several dummy security systems promptly. As such, we are reaching out to the community for assistance in resolving this problem.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has insights into potential solutions, we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Any guidance or troubleshooting steps you can provide would be invaluable in helping us overcome this obstacle.

Yes it works in UI. Due to the large number of security systems, we aimed to delete them via API for efficiency.

Does Security System was used for Certification ?

Hello @rushikeshvartak ,

No, it was not used for certification.

We've opened an FD ticket for the issue, and here is Saviynt's response:

Upon investigating your incident, I managed to replicate it in a test environment using version 24.4. We've concluded that we need to engage the product development team to help resolve your problem. An internal ticket has been generated for this incident, and we'll keep you informed with any further updates.

Regards,

Rahul

Root cause is web service missing (v24.3)

There seems to be some issue in deleting the SS when there are multiple dependency (like data is present in certification , request etc) in such deleting gives issue.

Enhancement is already in place.
