Hi Team,
We are observing one issue in latest EIC version that Emails are keep triggering to the recipient even if the request or Campaign is already completed.
This is happening for only for few emails only and not all.
Ex: Request is submitted, and we recieve the email that request submitted after running the email history job .
Every time we run the Email history job, Same email triggers. Once it triggers for one time, it should stop but keep sending.
In the emailhistory table, status for this email is 5 and not sure what does 5 means?
Did anyone observed this behavior in EIC version and any fix for such issues?

@AravindK : Ideally speaking once email is sent you shouldn't see any entry in your emailhistory table.
Looks like to me something wrong. Do you see any relative errors in logs during email history job run time?

update status in table as 2
EMAILHISTORY (STATUS)
SENDNOW = 1
SENT = 2
JBPMSEND = 4
ERRORWHILESEND = 404
PROCESSED = 14
GRANTPROCESSED = 17
PROCESSEDADDED = 144
GRANTPROCESSEDADDED = 177
Usually 5,15,404 are considered as bad statuses as they would result in filling up emailhistory_archive table with duplicate values. Hence clean up can be done to remove them.

Did you got any solution , I have also getting same in v24.2
Made TO /CC/ BCC blank for now

Is there a permanent solution for this issue, we have 7-8 emails which were stuck in email history table.
1. We updated the status to 2, it was previously "5" and emails were getting sent repeatedly still.
2. We removed the ToAddress,BCCAddress and CCAddress fields for those specific emailhistorykey's and that seems to have resolved the issue. We can still see those emails still there in emailhistory table but otherwise no issues.
It would be good to understand what happened here because these were emails like New employee email templates and analytics failed execution so basically these are emails which we used to get naturally in large numbers.

Due to some reason in latest version emails failed not moving to archive table. Please raise support ticket to get confirmation. I have also raised will keep you posted

yes we opened a FD ticket and Saviynt resolved the issue from their end.
