Does Saviynt support MS Exchange Integration using PS Scripts with a middleware (not Windows based)?

Hi,

We have a customer who uses PS scripts, that are NOT hosted on Windows Server, to provision MS Exchange. Standard way of integrating this is with the help of a Windows server(https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/WinPS-v24x/page/Content/Understanding_the_Integration-between-E...), but in this case customer does not have a Windows server, but have a third party server where the PS scripts are placed.

Can we use a REST connector to trigger these scripts? Or Is it possible only with the help of Windows Server (IIS) based "WinConnector"?

Accordingly, we will have to inform the customer.

Thanks for the help.

Thank you, for the response. Few followup questions:

  • Does it require any additional configurations /agent installations like Winconnector, to support this from a usual REST connector?
  • Does the connector automatically initiate the scripts on a call from Saviynt?

Thanks!

It will be general REST API call. if REST API call triggers script then you will not require Agent, Please check first from postman
