Dear Team,
This is in context to the discontinued requests that are not getting deleted from the pending approval list. In the below screenshot, the requests have been discontinued. However, after running the job-" RemoveExpiredRequests" these are still there in the pending approval list of the manager.
In the global configuration, under request- Expire request after-5 is already added.
Also, viewing deeper into these request, it was found that the expiry date is -23/01/2024. However, the start date is 24/01/2024. This signifies that the request was created wrongly but we cannot reach to the point of expiry date because this is picked automatically.
Hence, the below are the points that we are finding the solutions for:
1- The discontinued requests not getting cleared for the manager even post running the "removeexpiredrequest" job, which is hampering the user experience.
2- How come the expired date is less than the start of the sesson date. At times, this is not letting the request to be approved and making the pending approval list long.
Requesting you to provide the best way of dealing with the same.
Regards,
Manpreet Kaur
