  • Select In-Activate to change the status of existing users to Inactive, terminate them, and create a Revoke Access task in EIC if the User Termination from Imports configuration is Enabled under Admin > Global Configurations > Identity lifecycle > OFFBOARDING.
Otherwise, existing users are not terminated and Revoke Access task is also not created if User Termination from Imports configuration is disabled.

  • Select InactivateUserOnly to change the status of existing users not present in the HR system as Inactive instead of terminating them and creating a Revoke Access task in EIC. This option does not terminate users although the User Termination from Imports configuration is enabled under Admin > Global Configurations > Identity lifecycle > OFFBOARDING.

Hi @rushikeshvartakrushikeshvartak,

Thanks for the reply.

We have created analytics to disable accounts with condition statuskey=0 and date(enddate)=curdate().

InactivateUserOnly can be used in this case, right?

If we set In-Activate then no need of analytics?

Thanks,

Bhargavi Padaraju.

Do you have only one HR source ? you also would like to consider transfers , M&A etc.. before using this feature.

Sometime a record could move to one data source to another. We will not terminate such users.

Hi @Amit_Malik ,

We have only one trusted source.

Currently we have analytics to disable accounts of users with inactive profile and remove entitlements. Just wanted to know what difference both of the options have.

Thanks,

Bhargavi Padaraju.

Good to know that

Yes, if you want to continue with Analytics

If we set In-Activate then no need of analytics?

Yes, In-Activate and User Termination from Imports to be enabled as well in global config
