Custom entitlement mapping of two endpoints

Hi Team,

We have two applications (A and B) with their own endpoints. If application A has one entitlement value, ABC, based on this value, we need to frame one new dynamic entitlement value, like ABC_01, for application B.

We have tried in analytics to filter the application by entitlement, but we don’t see an option for creating an account task in analytics.

Experts please give your suggestion on this topic.

Thanks

Mervin

HI,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Yes, based on the entitlement name, we are filtering the user from endpoint A, and for those filtered users, we need to create an account on endpoint B with a new entitlement value.

Thanks

Mervin

Filtering entitlement on request form or analytics.

There are two target application names.

1.Ariba buying

2.Inpire

For Example: User A got the Ariba buying account with the below access (entitlement).

AA_STDREQ

AA_TEQWT

Step 1: We need to filter Abira buying users who have entitlement AA_STDREQ.

Step 2:We need to provide an inspiring account for those users.

Thanks

Mervin

Is there any default access with inpire application ?

Yes, but not for all the existing users.

Map entitlement under entitlement map for "AA_STDREQ"

Yeah, but we need to append some value based on user identiy to this entitlement, and then we need to provision it to inspire accounts.

User has one attribute called plant number and company code , so based on these value we need frame the entitlement like below:

  • Ariba AA_STDINTREQ for Plant 1615 > Plant 1615 = Company 1600 >                                     Inspire ‘Invoice Approver - 1600_INDIA’
  • Ariba AA_STDINTREQ for Plant 6801 > Plant 6801 = Company 6800 >                                       Inspire ‘Invoice Approver - 6800_ARGENTINA’

Use need to request individually or you can use request rules
