Connecting Active Directory Domain Accounts with MS SQL Database using Kerberos

Hi,

We have a requirement to onboard an MSSQL DB to Saviynt. The DB is integrated with Active Directory and users use the windows credentials to log in to DB.

We can see the documentation for this scenario here: Appendix (saviyntcloud.com)

But, who will be uploading the config files and keytab files to Saviynt file directory?

And how should we update the jar file? Should it be downloaded from the link and uploaded by us, or should we raise a saviynt ticket for that?

I can also see few updates that has to be done in startup.sh file. Should we raise a ticket for that too?

Refer https://forums.saviynt.com/t5/saviynt-knowledge-base/kerberos-protocol-to-allow-ad-domain-accounts-t...

  •  configuration file can be uploaded under file directory
  • startup.sh is no more needed in EIC
  • jar file can be downloaded from website and uploaded and server restarted

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'.

So does this mean, I will not need any Saviynt ticket to perform any of these?

No
