Cancellation or Correction of Saviynt Managed user's Joiner/Mover/Leaver requests

Hi,

We are using saviynt as the authoritative source for our contractors and have noticed that we cannot cancel or correct a Joiner / Mover / Leaver ("Create User" or "User Update Forms") request once it is approved.

is this something that can be achieved? if not, is this on the roadmap?

Thanks.

@Hayate_A : Is there a use case that you won't to be able to handle using user update form if you need to make any changes after the approval? I am just trying to understand the use case

Yes - here are a couple of examples:

  1.  Line manager raises a joiner request using the user create form for Future dated joiner. The joiner contact LM and informs them that they need to start a week later. Line manager returns to Saviynt but can’t edit the request because the request is approved…
  2. Line manager raise a leaver event using user update form. However the person needs to leave sooner - we have not mean to edit it after approval.

This applies for cancellation and correction. If a request is raised and approved there is no way to stop it or cancel it for the line manager without for asking for the admin to get involved.

Correction and cancellation of event is very frequent so this needs to be an out of the box feature.

#1 once request is approved and user is created , you can’t modify request this is expected. Here you can raise idea ticket to create user once start date is near for user similar like entitlement/ role which are timebound.

#2 you can resubmit leaver request to update latest leaver date.

currently once request is submitted you can’t modify ( please raise enhancement ticket on ideas portal)

RE Point #2 - Saviynt will not let you raise a new leaver request if one is already open against a user.
