Can we push update for the accounts created by application team not by Saviynt

Hi Everyone,

 

So we have a situation where we are not able to push anything for the accounts which were created by Application team not by Saviynt.

Only for the accounts which are created by Saviynt we are able to.

Now the situation is application team will not be able to do a hard delete for those accounts from  their end so that we can aging create those accounts from Saviynt and push required data.

 

Is there any possibility where we can push the data for these accounts also through analytics or update rules.

Are you reconciling the accounts that were created directly by the application team into Saviynt?
If yes, what is the challenge in managing such accounts via Saviynt?

If not, is there a specific reason such accounts have been filtered out in your reconciliation?

Yes we are reconciling those accounts which were created by application team and there is no issue in maintaining them.

The issue is when we are trying to update any attribute of that account task is generated and getting executed successfully but there is no update on target application side.

We have update account json where we are passing email, manager details and more attributes.

But no update on target side.

Hi, @Mohd_Faisal Thanks for your response.

  1. What is the target application? and what type of connector is configured in Saviynt?
  2. Can you please compare the account metadata in Saviynt for an account that was originally created via Saviynt and the account that was created out-of-band(created directly in Target via the app team and then reconciled into Saviynt) and see if there are any key differences?
  3. Are you seeing any errors at the time of provisioning the "update account task" for an account that was created directly in Target via the app team
