Automatic assignment for backlog pending approvals when we setup a Delegate

Hi,

We had manager on OOO during which period a delegate was setup for approvals, however there was a certain ARS request that was raised before the delegate was actually setup and was assigned to the user who was on OOO and was pending approval, is it possible to re-assign approval on previous pending request to delegate automatically with out manual intervention ? 

In the below ticket, I can see by changing  SAV role  changes we can achieve this but we have to assign manually in review pending requests.

I want to assign automatically old pending requests approvals to view new delegate as well  without manual intervention? how to achieve this?

This needs manual innervation  and can't be automated currently. Please raise idea to bulk reassign requests
