CPAM Disaster Recovery - Need information

Hi,

We need clarification on the CPAM Vault disaster recovery process-

In the event that the primary vault becomes unavailable, is there an automatic or manual failover to the DR vault?

We can only find documentation related to the breakglass procedure. We need clarification on the DR process itself for CPAM, specifically how users can access servers via CPAM with the help of the secondary (DR) vault when the primary vault is down. We would appreciate it if you could confirm whether this functionality is currently available in Saviynt and provide any relevant documentation.

Hi @Pooja ,

Greetings.

We have two scenarios here,

1. Activate break glass to fetch credentials temporarily .

2. Activate Disaster recovery and switch the URL to DR set up.

For a temporary unavailability, you'd raise a SEV1 and work with saviynt teams on restoration. But if the entire environment is down then you can consider switch URL for DR set up which would be a manual switchover.

Please let us know if you've further questions.

Thanks,

Regards,
