Workflow Escalation is not redirecting to correct escalation node

Description:  We have a disconnected application which has ARS form and lengthy workflow based on user selected values in the form during request submission.

Issue:   Facing issue with workflow when there is escalation to manager's manager. The problem is  when direct manager has not approved the request should be routed to corresponding escalation node in the workflow. In our case though it is getting escalated but it is not routing to right escalation node in the workflow.

Usecase: Existing workflow has multiple if blocks to evaluate user selected value on the form where it has different modules called  HR,Finance, learning and payroll. Each of these modules have different checkpoints in the workflow as per business requirement. Lets say first three modules are pointed to single escalation node and last module which is payroll has seperate escalation point. When user is submitting request for HR,Finance and Learning it is escalating to node called payroll though there is dedicated node. This is happening only for escalated requests not for others.

Please do let us know if anyone have faced similar issue. My question, can we point multiple sources to single escalation node or not?

Thanks,
Sampath

Hi @rushikeshvartak ,

Please find below screenshots, where request should have gone to Escalated flow1 instead they are going to escalatedflow2 always when requests are escalated. Note that 2 nd flow was recently added and it is properly isolated as well. We checked xml version of it and shows that it routing to flow2 instead flow1 always as next trigger.

Thanks,
Sampath

Share full wiring. It will be hard to assume from where mapping is coming
